2.0 Selects Open the Fall 31-7 Over the Harlequins, and Women of Old White Train for the First Time on Wednesday, September 9

Atlanta 2.0 Selects opened the women's fall with a 31-7 win over the Atlanta Harlequins at English Park on Saturday, August 29, an 11 AM kickoff per the Harlequins' site and a scoreline per 2.0's result graphic. Next for 2.0 is a round robin with Charlotte and the Raleigh Venom in Charlotte on Saturday, September 12 at 1 PM, then a home date against Birmingham Steel at the Old White pitch on Saturday, October 17.

Women of Old White, the 15s side that formed in 2024, hold their first training of the season on Wednesday, September 9 at Custer Park in Marietta, then every Monday and Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. No experience necessary, per the club. High Country's site lists a friendly between the two on Saturday, October 3, and High Country's women open at home against the Chattanooga Queens on Saturday, September 12.

The Harlequins' fall runs at home on Saturday, September 19 against DC Furies and Saturday, October 3 against Boston, then away to Northern Virginia on Saturday, October 17 and New York on Saturday, November 7. Training is Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Savannah Shamrocks' women open at home against the Charleston Hurricanes on Saturday, September 26, a doubleheader with the men.

Two recruiting doors are wide open. The Gwinnett Lions' women's side is enrolling for the season: $95 for USA Club Rugby registration and insurance, dues capped at $75 a month for four months or $300 for the season, with open practices Thursdays and Saturdays at Tribble Mills Park in Lawrenceville. The Augusta Furies train Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 PM at Augusta Rugby Pitch, 2055 Division Street, with their fall fixtures to come from the club.

In Marietta, Life University's women have two players named to USA Rugby's WXV series squad this fall, per the club's Friday, September 4 post, and the program's Recruit Visit Week runs October 26 to November 1, free to attend for high school classes of 2027 and 2028 and college transfers, with a home matchday on Saturday, October 31 at 11 AM.

College women open too: Georgia Tech at Kennesaw State and North Georgia at Coastal Carolina on Saturday, September 12; Georgia at North Georgia and Georgia College hosting Eckerd on Saturday, September 19. Dates, venues and kickoffs, where posted, are on the calendar.
