Saturday, September 12 has two free entry points. The Atlanta Bucks host Rugby 101 from 11 AM to 1 PM at 709 Hortense Place NW: learn the basics, meet the team, stay for the social. Atlanta Old White run a touch and BBQ day at the Atlanta Rugby Grounds on Fairburn Road the same day; the club says no experience needed.
For a weekly game, the Atlanta Touch Rugby Facebook group (public, going since 2008) posts each Sunday's park and time; Southern Touch lists Sundays from 2 to 4 PM at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta. In Athens, the Eagles list touch on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM at Rocket Field, 34 School Street in Watkinsville, per the club site.
Old boys and social sides: Peg Leg's 4th annual golf tournament tees off Friday, September 11 at Woodland Hills in Cartersville, $100 a player, the day before their alumni match against Kennesaw State. The Exiles host the Fuel Coffee Roasters Car Show and club fundraiser on Sunday, October 11, venue to come from the club.

Macon Love Rugby travels to the Hurricane 7s Social Tournament in Panama City Beach, Florida, Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, 2026. It is the club's next scheduled outing, running from 8:00 AM Saturday through 4:30 PM Sunday.

The social brackets at the Hotlanta 7s on Saturday, July 25 ran fourteen men's sides deep across four pools, plus a full women's social draw. Clamdigger Selects took the men's title 21-14 over The Fast and The Fragile, and Atlanta 2.0 Selects won the women's social division.

Exiles Rugby keeps free Community Touch running Thursdays at 7:00 PM in Alpharetta, ages 16 and up, no kit and no contact required. A heat note for the dog days: sessions can shift or cancel on hot weeks, so check their page before you drive. Down the coast, the Savannah Shamrocks run co-ed touch Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Forsyth Park, with a Rookie Day and youth clinic there Saturday, August 8, and Southern Touch plays Sunday, August 2, 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta.

Four Georgia clubs kept open, beginner-welcome summer sessions running, all Tuesdays and Thursdays: the Atlanta Harlequins played 7s at Walker Park, High Country at Coan Park, the Augusta Furies in Augusta, and Macon Love at Carolyn Crayton Park. No experience required at any of them.
