The Bucks' Ruck N Maul Drag Show Is November 14 at The Heretic, Savannah's Halloween Touch Is Thursday

The Atlanta Bucks close their season with the Ruck N Maul Drag Show at The Heretic Atlanta on Saturday, November 14, doors at 5 PM, $20, 21 and over, six performers; the Savannah Shamrocks host a Halloween co-ed touch night at Georgia Southern's Armstrong campus on Thursday, October 29; and Atlanta's Sunday touch posts its park week to week in the club's Facebook group

The Atlanta Bucks called the season over on Monday, October 26, and posted the night that follows it the same day: RUCK N MAUL DRAG SHOW, November 14, 5:30 PM, doors open at 5 PM, The Heretic Atlanta, 2069 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, $20, 21+, "6 DIVAS - 2 PERFORMANCES EACH - 1 NIGHT ONLY." The Bucks' last match of the fall was at Athens on Saturday, October 24.

The Savannah Shamrocks' Story set Thursday: Halloween Co-ed Touch, October 29, 6:30 to 8:30 PM at GSU Armstrong, 104 Library Drive, Savannah, both teams to Coach's Southside after. The men's side comes off a 33-24 win at Hilton Head on Saturday, a match put together on a day's notice after both clubs lost their opponents, and is next at Macon Love at Carolyn Crayton Park on Saturday, November 7, time to be posted.

Atlanta Touch Rugby's Sunday sessions are posted week to week in the club's public Facebook group; the officers' last call was October 11, noon at Adair Park, so check the group before you go. Kennesaw State's women have a Menchie's day on Thursday, October 29, Acworth store only, 3348 Cobb Parkway Suite 100, 11:30 AM to 10 PM, 10 percent of proceeds to the club. The Rebels' site lists Turkeyfest Touch at Piedmont Park on Saturday, November 14, and a Littles Touch Jamboree on December 12. Every session the clubs have posted is on the calendar.

Georgia College's Women Open Deep Roots With a Win Over Mississippi State

The Deep Roots Tournament ran on Georgia College's intramural fields on Saturday, October 17, free to watch, and the Exiles posted from Milledgeville that evening: "2026 DEEP ROOTS TOURNAMENT WINNERS! Your Exiles came away undefeated today." The host women beat Mississippi State in their opener, per the club, with a Macon Love and alumni motley side in the pool. Atlanta's Sunday touch met at noon at Adair Park on October 11, per the group's officers, and on Saturday, October 24 the 2.0 Selects host a USA v Italy watch party at Jolene Jolene from 4:15 PM with a $10 50/50 raffle.

The Deep Roots Tournament Is Free to Watch Saturday

Georgia College's women host the Deep Roots Tournament on IM Field 4 in Milledgeville on Saturday, October 17, free to attend, first kickoff 9:45 AM, with Mississippi State and a Macon Love and alumni motley side in the pool and shirt sales going to the club's charity. Atlanta's Sunday touch session ran at noon at Adair Park on October 11, posted by the group's officers that morning. The Exiles report social membership at an all-time high after Sunday's car show in Alpharetta, and the Augusta Furies collect professional attire at Savannah River Brewing Company on Monday, October 26.

A Car Show for the Exiles, Sunday in Alpharetta

Exiles Rugby Club's fundraiser car show runs Sunday, October 11, 10 AM to 2 PM at Fuel Coffee Roasters, 800 N Main St in Alpharetta, with gift-certificate drawings and an autographed bat. The Augusta Furies collect professional attire on Monday, October 26, 6 to 9 PM at Savannah River Brewing. Sunday touch runs 2 to 4 PM, most weeks at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta.

Fifty Golfers for the Old Boys

Kennesaw State's alumni rugby club put 50-plus golfers on the course on September 26 for the fourth annual Peg Leg golf fundraiser, the kind of day that keeps an old boys club running. Their postponed alumni match is still waiting on a new date.

A Cup Decided by a Boat Race, Rugby 101 Moves Into Bucks Practice, and Exiles Open a $70 Social Membership

The Exiles and Hilton Head launched the Palms and Pines Cup on Thursday, September 17, a home-and-home with a boat race as the tiebreaker, and the Exiles opened a $70-a-year social membership for people who want to belong to a rugby club without playing. The Atlanta Bucks are running Rugby 101 inside practice, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at East Lake Park, no experience, no tryouts. Old White's test match against the Exiles on Saturday, September 26 at 1 PM at the Atlanta Rugby Grounds is billed family friendly.

Gwinnett Add a Saturday Touch Session at Tribble Mill Park, and Sunday Touch Keeps Rolling in Marietta

The Gwinnett Lions posted a new practice schedule on Tuesday, September 15: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 to 8 PM at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, with Saturdays 2 to 4 PM pencilled in as optional touch days, tentative per the club. Atlanta Touch Rugby's Sunday sessions played through the weekend of September 12, the Exiles' Thursday social runs at Olde Blind Dog, and the Shamrocks follow their women's opener on Saturday, September 19 with a 4 PM social at Rouge Water.

Macon Love Rugby travels to the Hurricane 7s Social Tournament in Panama City Beach, Florida, Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, 2026. It is the club's next scheduled outing, running from 8:00 AM Saturday through 4:30 PM Sunday.

The social brackets at the Hotlanta 7s on Saturday, July 25 ran fourteen men's sides deep across four pools, plus a full women's social draw. Clamdigger Selects took the men's title 21-14 over The Fast and The Fragile, and Atlanta 2.0 Selects won the women's social division.

Exiles Rugby keeps free Community Touch running Thursdays at 7:00 PM in Alpharetta, ages 16 and up, no kit and no contact required. A heat note for the dog days: sessions can shift or cancel on hot weeks, so check their page before you drive. Down the coast, the Savannah Shamrocks run co-ed touch Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Forsyth Park, with a Rookie Day and youth clinic there Saturday, August 8, and Southern Touch plays Sunday, August 2, 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta.

Four Georgia clubs kept open, beginner-welcome summer sessions running, all Tuesdays and Thursdays: the Atlanta Harlequins played 7s at Walker Park, High Country at Coan Park, the Augusta Furies in Augusta, and Macon Love at Carolyn Crayton Park. No experience required at any of them.

Two No-Pressure Ways Onto the Pitch

Two low-key entry points opened for the season: Rebels Rugby started free, non-contact Touch Tuesdays on Tuesday, May 12, all ages and abilities, no experience needed; and Alpharetta's Exiles, whose adult touch runs year-round, opened a free Summer Touch for kids ages 5 to 14 on Tuesday, May 26 at Innovation Academy.
