Saturday, September 12 is the first full Saturday of senior men's rugby in Georgia. Augusta Maddogs travel to High Country in Atlanta, 1 PM per Augusta's schedule. The Athens Eagles host the Gainesville Spartans in Athens at 1 PM, the annual meeting the Spartans call the showdown that never disappoints. The Atlanta Bucks, home from the Bingham Cup in Brisbane, host the Columbus Cruise-A-Matics in Atlanta, and open the morning with a free Rugby 101 from 11 AM to 1 PM at 709 Hortense Place NW: learn the game, meet the team, social after. Atlanta Old White fill their Saturday with a touch and BBQ day at the field.
The season already started in Snellville on Saturday, September 5, where the Gwinnett Lions hosted Athens at South Gwinnett Park. The Lions' schedule has them at the Bucks on Saturday, September 26 and home to the Renegades on Saturday, October 24.
Two things every away fan should know. Augusta's home matches now play at Augusta Rugby Pitch, 2055 Division Street, Augusta 30904, per the club's schedule, which also lists 1 PM kickoffs: Charleston on Saturday, October 17 and Columbus on Saturday, November 7 at home, Hilton Head away on Saturday, October 24. Macon Love posted their full 2026-27 schedule: the opener is Saturday, September 19 at High Country, home dates are at Carolyn Crayton Park starting with Savannah on Saturday, November 7, and practice has moved to the South Bibb Recreation Complex, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM.
The Atlanta Renegades' fixtures are on their site: Augusta on Saturday, September 26, Gwinnett in October, Charleston away on Saturday, November 7, Columbus away on Saturday, February 6. Both Augusta and the Renegades list September 26 as a home match, so we are confirming the venue with the clubs and it goes on the calendar the moment we have it. Training is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 to 9 PM, at Peachtree Middle School in Dunwoody, no experience needed.
Old White's site names a new head coach, Matt Heaton, and their home match against the Exiles on Saturday, September 26 kicks off at 1 PM at the Atlanta Rugby Grounds on Fairburn Road. The Exiles hold their AGM the morning of September 12 and get their next 15s in Marietta two weeks later. And for the old boys: Peg Leg's 4th annual golf tournament tees off at 8 AM on Friday, September 11 at Woodland Hills in Cartersville, $100 a player, the day before their alumni match against Kennesaw State's current side.
Every fixture above is on the Radar calendar with the club's own post as its source. Send corrections and kickoff times to hello@therugbyradar.com.

The host side nearly wrote the storybook ending at the Hotlanta 7s on Saturday, July 25. Atlanta Old White went four for four through the men's competitive round robin, including a 26-17 win over Apex. Finals are cruel like that: Apex adjusted and closed it 21-10 for the title. The men's social bracket ran fourteen sides deep across four pools. Clamdigger Selects beat The Fast and The Fragile 21-14 in the final, with Lanier 7s and the Atlanta Renegades falling in the semis. Macon Love, the Peglegs, and sides from six states beyond Georgia all put boots on the grass, which is what an end-of-summer sevens day is for. Fifteens is next. Athens Rugby starts XVs training Sunday, August 2 at Southeast Clarke Park, the Gwinnett Lions restart fifteens training Thursday, July 30 at Tribble Mills Park in Lawrenceville, and the Ernie Silva Cup kicks off in Augusta on Saturday, August 29.
