Father Ryan's Irish Ruggerfest in Nashville is a one-day tournament this year, per the hosts, and it lands on Saturday, September 12. Three Georgia high school squads are making the trip: Golden Eagle Rugby's boys, Rebels Rugby GA's boys and girls sides, and the Atlanta Valkyries. Golden Eagle posted the countdown on Sunday, September 6. Rebels have it on their site as the first tournament of the fall. The Valkyries said it in three words on Facebook on Monday, September 7: see you there.
For anyone still deciding where a kid plays this fall, the door is open in four places. Rebels Rugby GA train Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Elkins Pointe Middle School in Roswell, boys and girls, U14 through high school, and the fall 7s season costs $130 plus a card fee of about $4, on top of the City of Roswell and USA Rugby registrations. Their free Try Rugby and Open House is Saturday, October 10.
The Exiles' U19 girls, ages 14 to 18, train every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM on Innovation Academy's lower field in Alpharetta, and the club says any high school is welcome. Club fees are $50 for the season for the girls' program and $125 for the full year for U19 boys, with USA Rugby's registration, about $35, separate. The U19 boys resume in January; Saturday Minis for ages 5 to 10 start in February at $30 for the spring, tee included.
Golden Eagle Rugby's 2026-27 registration has been open since July 1 at goldeneaglerugby.com, U8 through U19 varsity, two weekday practices in Dunwoody. The Valkyries, Atlanta's girls-only club for middle and high school ages, have registration open through the link in their Instagram bio.
Forsyth County's Falcons post their dues on forsythyouthrugby.com: $90 for U8, $115 for U10, $175 for ages 10 to 18, plus USA Rugby's fee. Practices are listed as Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM at Fowler Park in Cumming. Atlanta Old White's youth program, Red Top Rugby, starts practice on Monday, November 9, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 PM, with Rugby Xplorer registration links going out from the club.
Every one of those dates is on the Radar calendar. If your program's fall is not here yet, send it over and it goes up the day it lands.
Rebels Rugby GA hosted a USA Rugby Level 1 Coach Course on Saturday, August 29, and seventeen coaches from around the state completed it, six of them newly certified Rebels coaches. Rebels youth players stepped in as live practice players for the coursework. The club says a Level 2 course is in its sights for after the first of the year.

Exiles RFC named its 2026-27 high school girls staff on Tuesday, August 4: head coach Keliah Newman on forwards, assistant coach Ash Nell on backs, and team manager Nadia Opperman. Sessions run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 PM at Innovation Academy Field B in Alpharetta, girls ages 14 to 18 from any high school can join at any point in the season, and the season fee is fifty dollars.

Atlanta Old White Youth Rugby has named coaches across all six age groups for the 2026-27 season, from Rob Briggs at U8 to Junior Rokovunisei leading the high school sevens side. Practice begins Monday, November 9.

Rebels Rugby is hosting a USA Rugby Level 1 Coach course on Saturday, August 29 at the Roswell Area Park CAB Building, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. One day, in person, and the certification every new youth and club coach in the metro has been waiting to get without a plane ticket. Enrolling takes two steps: join or renew at usa.rugby/members, then register through the Learning Center in your account. The course list also lives at usa.rugby/courses. The course runs on enrollment, so if you have been meaning to get certified, this is the one to fill.

Two products of Georgia's youth game earned 2025-26 US Rugby Foundation college scholarships: Landon Lockhart-Keener, a two-year Rebels Rugby captain now at the University of Kentucky, and Max Horn, who captained the Galloway School Golden Eagles and is headed to Kutztown University.

Youth rugby in Georgia runs from U6 flag through U19, and most clubs field multiple age bands under one roof. Many programs are coed at the younger ages, and girls play alongside dedicated girls-only sides as they come up.
New families: message the club first. Nearly every program runs intro-friendly practices where a new player can try a session before committing, and cleats plus a mouthguard cover the starting kit.
