The social game is the easiest rugby in Georgia to join and the hardest to find, because almost none of it lives on a fixed schedule. Here is where it actually is this month.

Southern Touch runs Sunday touch around Fair Oaks Park in Marietta, and the honest guidance is the club's own: each week's time and place is posted to the Atlanta Touch Rugby Facebook group before the weekend. Check the group before you load the car.

Savannah Shamrocks run co-ed touch on Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Daffin Park, straight off the club's own August calendar.

Athens Eagles play touch on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at Rocket Field, 34 School St in Watkinsville.

Exiles RFC closed its Community Touch summer run on Thursday, July 30, with a sign-off worth keeping: "Yup! Tonight is the last Community Touch Rugby session of the summer." Fall plans land here the moment the club posts them.

And Macon Love train Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm at Carolyn Crayton Park, with a road trip on the books: the Hurricane 7s Social Tournament in Panama City Beach, Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16.
