The Gwinnett Lions restart fifteens training Thursday, July 30 at Tribble Mills Park in Lawrenceville, men's and women's both, with a first match coming in September. In Athens, the Eagles open XVs season prep Sunday, August 2 at Southeast Clarke Park, Sundays at 3:00 PM with fundamentals Tuesdays at 6:30 PM, new and returning players welcome.

Exiles RFC are building a fall-to-spring men's XVs calendar and say they are looking to add about six more fixtures, so if your club wants a match, the line is open. And there is new silverware on the horizon: the inaugural Ernie Silva Cup lands Saturday, August 29 in Augusta, a round robin between the Maddogs, Greenville, and Exiles, winner taking home what the hosts call the shortest, hairiest cup known to rugby.
