A spotlight on the Columbus Cruisers: the touring Cruise-A-Matics played their first rugby on July 4, 1983, and the club still runs four decades on. It owns a piece of state history in the Hotter than Hell 7s, first run in 1984 and into its 43rd year in 2026, the longest-running sevens in Georgia.
