Georgia's college clubs open the doors

Georgia College's men opened first. The Bobcats held their first practice of the year on Monday, August 17 at West Campus Village Fields, "19 guys, 2 coaches," in the club's words, with the home opener against Georgia Tech in Milledgeville on Saturday, September 5 as the target.

In Athens, UGA's men are running open practice for anyone who turns up, Tuesdays 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursdays 7:30 to 9:30 PM at 562 Research Drive, and open the season at home against their own alumni in a 15s friendly on Saturday, August 22. UGA's women practice Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at 110 Lake Herrick Drive; no experience needed.

Georgia Tech's men will have a table at RecFest on Wednesday, August 19 at 11:30 AM on Stamps Field, and practice Mondays 9:30 to 11:30 PM and Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Georgia Tech's women announced their 2026-27 officers this week and are marking the club's 20th anniversary.

Kennesaw State's men posted a nine-date fall schedule, opening with the alumni game at home on Saturday, September 12. North Georgia's men and women practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 to 9:00 PM in Dahlonega, no experience needed. Life University's men open on Saturday, September 26 on the road, with the home opener against Mary Washington on Saturday, October 3.
