Georgia Tech Put Up 104 at Sewanee, Kennesaw State's Women Open at Home 53-0, and Five More Georgia Wins on the Weekend of September 19

Two Saturdays into the fall and the scoreboards are loud. Every result below is the club's own number, posted on the club's own channel; where a club has not posted a score, it says so.

College: Georgia Tech's men posted "FULL TIME 104 GEORGIA TECH 0 SEWANEE" from Stringer Field in Sewanee, Tennessee, a 1 PM kickoff on Saturday, September 19. Georgia's men beat Tennessee Tech 61-19 at their Lake Herrick home field on Parents and Family Weekend and are 3-0. North Georgia's women won 84-0 at Nighthawk Ridge in Dahlonega against a combined Western Carolina and Georgia side. Life University's club side beat White Plains 53-5 at Lupo Family Field in Marietta on Saturday night, their second win over White Plains in two weeks. On Sunday, September 20, Kennesaw State's women won their first home game 53-0 over Alabama at The Perch, a 10 AM kickoff. Georgia Tech's women beat The Citadel at Stamps Field, "a clean win" in the club's words, score not posted. North Georgia's men had their home opener against Western Carolina called off on Friday, September 18, per the club.

Senior men: Atlanta High Country beat Macon Love 94-5 at Grant Park on Saturday, September 19, a 2 PM kickoff and, in Macon Love's words, the first meeting between the two clubs "after several years." It was the only senior men's fixture of the weekend.

Senior women: the Augusta Furies won their fall opener at the Savannah Shamrocks at Daffin Park, a 1 PM friendly; the Furies posted the win, six Shamrock rookies made their debuts, and neither club has posted a score. The Atlanta Harlequins hosted DC Furies at Browns Mill Park in Stonecrest at 2 PM, their first matrix home game of the season; that score goes up the moment either club posts it.

Youth and high school: Rebels Rugby GA opened 2026-27 registration on Sunday, September 20 with a dated October: the Roswell Youth Day Parade on Saturday, October 3, a free Try Rugby and Open House at Elkins Pointe on Saturday, October 10 from 10 AM to noon, and U8 to U14 practices from Tuesday, October 13, first two weeks free. Golden Eagle's registration is open, and a Golden Eagle alum made his first start for the Florida Gators against Auburn on Saturday.

Saturday, September 26 is the fullest day of the fall so far: Atlanta Old White host the Exiles at 1 PM at the Atlanta Rugby Grounds on Fairburn Road, billed by Old White as a test match and family friendly; the Atlanta Bucks open at home against the Gwinnett Lions at 1 PM at Grove Park; the Savannah Shamrocks run a home doubleheader, women vs the Charleston Hurricanes at 1:30 PM and men vs Hilton Head at 3 PM; Georgia Tech's men open at home against Tennessee Tech at Stamps Field; North Georgia's men go to Georgia College; and Life's men open at Millenia Atlantic in Doral, Florida. Two Lander fixtures are off: Kennesaw State's home match and Life's women's trip to Greenwood, South Carolina are both canceled. The Renegades and Augusta Maddogs both list their meeting as a home match, and we are confirming the venue with the clubs. Every date and kickoff the clubs have posted is on the calendar.

Correction, September 29, 2026: this story originally gave two scores as the clubs posted them, Kennesaw State's women 55-0 over Alabama and High Country 94-7 over Macon Love. The referee society's official record has them 53-0 and 94-5, and the story now carries the official figures.
