Women's Clubs

Atlanta High Country Women called it on Tuesday, August 18: "Happy 15s season to all who celebrate." Practice runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at Benteen Park in Atlanta, beginners welcome, and the club's Rugby 101 session for anyone curious is Saturday, August 29 at Historic Fourth Ward Park.

Atlanta 2.0 Selects have posted a full fall: at home to the Atlanta Harlequins on Saturday, August 29, the Raleigh/Charlotte round robin in Charlotte on Saturday, September 12, Birmingham Steel at the Old White pitch on Saturday, October 17, Life JV in Marietta in November, and Tampa Krewe in Tampa on Saturday, December 12. Practice is Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at Larry Bell Park in Marietta.

The Harlequins have been at English Park since Thursday, August 13, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 to 9:30 PM through August and 8:00 to 10:00 PM from September. The Augusta Furies took the Shamrock 7s trip to Savannah on Saturday, August 15 and practice Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 to 7:30 PM, at 100 Wood Street.

In Gwinnett, the Lions and Lady Lions train together on Thursdays at 7:00 PM at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, no experience required, and Atlanta Women's Premier has been pointing its players to the same session.
