The Maddogs Moved the Address, Not the Pitch

The Augusta Maddogs opened their 2026-27 season with a practice graphic and, buried in the FAQ underneath it, the most relatable club admin note of the year. Is this a new pitch? Just an updated address. GPS stopped liking 100 Wood Street.

So: fall training is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm at Maddogs Pitch, 2055 Division Street, Augusta. Same grass, new coordinates. That is the one to put in your phone.

The season now has a shape around it. The club's published slate runs five games: the inaugural Ernie Silva Cup at Larry Bray Field on Saturday, August 29, a trip to High Country on Saturday, September 12, the Atlanta Renegades visiting on Saturday, September 26 (a fixture the Renegades' own schedule confirms), Charleston on Saturday, October 17, and Columbus to close on Saturday, November 7.

Before any of that: Thursday, August 13 is rugby night at the Augusta GreenJackets, with a share of ticket proceeds going back to the club for field improvements. The Augusta Furies are in on the same night, which makes it two rugby clubs and one ballpark.
