UGA Men Name Captains, Add a Commitment, and Launch an Alumni Fundraiser

The University of Georgia's men have their leaders for 2026-27. The club named its two captains on Tuesday, August 11, with Merrick Edmondson taking the forwards.

It has been a busy stretch off the pitch. UGA announced an incoming player's commitment on Sunday, August 9, and on Sunday, August 2 launched its first alumni-guided fundraiser, aimed at kit, equipment, travel, and coaching.

Georgia opens its season at home in Athens on Saturday, August 22, the earliest college fixture on the Georgia calendar. The date is on the calendar.
